I'm using Library on two different Ubuntu 16.04 machines.
Whenever I'm switching to Grid View from the top right corner, the comic screen becomes white as if there's nothing there. However, when I press the Open current comic on YACReader, the first comic on the list opens just fine, which leads me to believe there's a rendering issue.
Tried disabling HW Acceleration but problem persists.

Please your kind advice!

This sounds like a missing package to me. The grid view uses qtquick, which probably isn't installed on your system.

I'm not sure which package exactly is missing (Ubuntu splits the Qt5 module needed into several packages) but these could work:

libqt5qml5
libqt5quick5
My answers are not necessarily official YACReader statements but mostly represent my own opinion in technical matters.

So I made some digging and apparently I was missing these two packages:
qml-module-qtquick-controls
libqt5qml-graphicaleffects

Maybe it's a good idea to add them to the dependencies list?

Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction!

On another topic (not sure if I should open another one), all my Manga files were stored in a folder called
"#Manga" (with a hash tag) and while I could see the squares and names, I couldn't see the actual cover.
Checking the terminal, I found the next error message:
qrc:/qml/GridComicsView.qml:232:13: QML Image: Cannot open: file:///path/to/#Manga/.yacreaderlibrary/covers/f9a59e9fd50ee38171f86043ce8d793ffed0b52e7811703.jpg

Simply renaming the folder to be without a hash tag worked fine, but it's definitely a bug...

Thanks again!

Yes, they will be added to the dependencies list the next time I update the package. This will probably when we release the next version, some time after the win/mac releases. I'd like to do this sooner, but creating those packages is very time-consuming for me, so I usually do it when I am sure I only have to do it once ;)
