Hi.
I just bought this app for ipad.
I use ifunbox to copy my files to my ipad
[ie. direct access to the ipad's file system].

I would like to know :
Which folder / subfolder does yacreader store the comic files, so that I can transfer them there.
I already tried
yacreader --> library
and
yacreader --> documents

Neither worked.
Is there a special subfolder or something I should try?

YACReader can import comics from the documents folder, but after copying them you need to go to the import screen and import them.

Yep you can retrieve data by yourself. There are programs to do that. For example Ipad Manager Ipad Manager
I used it few times. it's free and it works as good as can be expected. The main thing is to stop using the external hard disk until you use this tool, and avoid writing any files to it.

I've looked in every folder on my ipad with iFunbox. Can anyone tell me how or where the files are stored on the ipad so I can extract them and move them to a newer ipad? Thanks in advance for any help!
