I am wondering if this could be the solution for those who want to run YACReaderLibraryServer in a Synology NAS, they have support for Docker...

I am going to pin this topic so it doesn't get lost. And I have to add this info to the downloads section and give you credit for it :)

It should work out of the box for people running x86 based NAS devices with docker support. ARM should work too, but the image will need to be recompiled. We never ran any tests with other cpu architectures, but there is a good chance that it "just works". One step at a time ;)

ARM is already supported. One of the main ideas behind YACReaderLibraryServer was to run it in embedded systems, and I use a raspberry pi as my main comics server at home.

i do not have an ARM machine to create the base docker image myself, but anyone willing to, can get the dockerfile as a base point.

Just wanted to say that I'm running this Dockerized YACReaderLibaryServer on my Synology NAS and it works great. I use the Mac version of the YACReaderLibrary to create the libraries and then just point the NAS server at them.

I'm using the image that @josetesan is sharing. I can do a mini-writeup for Synology NAS users on how I got it running. I'll do that when I can find some free non-work time!

Something is wrong. At home i use a VPN, House 1 192.168.1.x and House 2 192.168.0.x.
In House 2 i can use Browse to my server with yacreaderlibraryserver on House 1 192.168.1.111.
But i try to use it since Internet, with my internet ip, the port is open but i have this error "The request time out"
