That's the point of all the noise on the Chromium issue tracker. Currently, supports JPG XL: - Adobe Camera RAW - Affinity Photo - Cloudnary image CDN - TwicPics Adobe and Serif supports JXL because it can serve as work files, not only delivery, like JPG. So, even without Chrome, the format can be used out of web.

Vagab0nd Offline Fresh Boarder Posts: 2 Thank you received: 3 Karma: 0	Great news for those who are unaware: In my limited testing, YACReader v9.13.1 "YACReader-v9.13.1.2307166-winx64-7z.exe" (Qt5 version not Qt6) will open JPEG XL comics if you place "qjpegxl.dll" ( github.com/novomesk/qt-jpegxl-image-plugin/releases ) into "C:\Program Files\YACReader\imageformats\".

This only works on the non-qt6 version. The jpegxl.dll file is made using qt5. So to have a working plugin for the qt6 build, it needs to be built using qt6.

The same goes for the AVIF plugin, but thankfully the developer did provide a qt6 version plugin that you can find in this issue thread: github.com/novomesk/qt-avif-image-plugin/issues/12
