A 'Mark as Unread' feature would be nice for organizing files to be sent to the ipad app (or maybe a mark for iPad, that would then show up in the list when you connect from the mobile app? It would save a lot of searching through large libraries).
Sometimes I open files to see if they're actually new and then it automatically marks them 'read' It would be nice to be able to do this with a right click on the comic image in the Library as the icons listed below the images to do this are way too similar. Color might help the readability of the icons as well, green for mark as unread, red for mark as read, etc.

Also would be nice to be able to organize comics by clicking the tab above the filenames (like filename, pages, read, size, etc.) to see just the files that are unread. (seems like this should work already, am i missing something?)

That said, I do love where this program is going. Others have gotten way too bloated and slow for my taste.

in future versions I am going to improve the sync feature. So you can expect some kind of "send to iOS device" or "Sync comic selection" feature.

YACReader 7.0 will include an improved read status tracking. The red ribbon will be used to mark completed comics, and a yellow one will indicate "reading" status.

A nice feature (in my opinion) would be to save the reading status, independent of the reading device. So if I finish reading a comic through my iPad, it would be marked as "read" in YACReader Library. And if I finish reading another comic at the Mac desktop version of YACReader, it would also be marked as "read" in YACReader Library. The reading status of both comics should be visible at both my Mac desktop and my iPad.

Yes, full synchronization between YACReader for iOS and YACReaderLibrary is scheduled and will be available if future versions.
