Hi! Before I go mad trying to get it to work, can I check whether YAC allows access via the app through 4g or is it only when you're connected to the local wifi that the library is on?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

It uses HTTP so it will work through 4G, you have to configure your router properly though.

Google “port fordwarding” for more info.

Thanks, good to know it will work. I've set up port forwarding using the IP/port details that I get along with the QR code but the app times out. I've set port forwarding for Plex, which works, so I know it's correct there.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

You can not use the QR when accessing the server from outside you local network, you have to use your public IP.
