One the best features of Yac Reader is its server. Having the ability to read comics directly from the PC or NAS (or streaming them) without having to download them to the iPad is fantastic. It's great for reading at home. This is a feature I really appreciate and that majority of comic readers seem to lack.

Right now, the library server is part of the import section on the iPad. Is it possible make server or remote library it's on tab along the bottom...perhaps between Library and Import icons. Basically like a short that takes directly the server library.

Instead of Import > Yac ReaderLibrary > Browse/Sync > Libraries > Comics

The short tab would be Library Server > Comics

Once the server is set, you don't connect to every time. Would that be possible? I'm not a programmer so I'm not sure how difficult to adding such a feature would be. Hopefully what I said made sense.

I started to work on this time ago once it is ready you will be able to pin servers and libraries to the bottom tab bar

This is how it will look:



"Comics" is a remote library, and "PC" is a server.

The app will pick the library name for the tab bar pin, and will ask for a name for the server to the user.

That looks nice. Is there an ETA for this update?

Not sure when it is going to be ready, my plan was to include it in the 4.0 update...
