I'm running a 1st Gen MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo with OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and when I try to install YACReader it says that "You can't open the application YACReader.app because it is not supported on this type of Mac."

In my experience, it's because an app is 64 bit only whereas my Intel Core Duo (not Core Duo 2 or Core 2 Duo) is only 32bit.

So, is YACReader 64bit only? if so; is there a 32bit version (depreciated) available?

Hi Okiilnu,

The current version of YACReader is only available for MacOSX in 64bit. I am setting up a machine in order to compile it for Snow Leopard 32bit, hope the next version will available for old machines.

Here you can find all the previous versions of YACReader, but is highly deprecated use them. I think that the last version with support for MacOSX 32 bit was 5.0.0 or 5.5.0.
