It would be nice to be able to customize the thumbnail used for folder.

In particular, when a folder contains no comics, but just sub folders, no image is displayed.

My suggestion would be to look for the file "Folder.jpg" located in the directory; indeed, that same file is used by Windows File Explorer to customize the thumbnail of a folder.
