Hi,

I have been encountering some crashing in the reader app since upgrading to iOS 17. Not sure what is going on, but sometimes it will crash the device to a black loading screen for a bit rather than crash out to the home screen. The app is not completely unusable, but the crashes are annoying and on restarting the app, it doesn't retain the last page read before the crash.

Also, is there a file name character limit for YACReader Library app? Some of my files in the library have really long file names that seem to cause problems when displaying the cover and opening the file in the Library app to read. When I shorten the file name, I can open the file in Library but the cover display still shows an "X", and will not allow me download the file from the Library app to the YACReader app on a tablet or phone.

Thanks for reporting the problems with iOS 17, I will publish a beta soon.

Regarding the file path size limit, the only limit should be the limit imposed by the file system you use. One thing is that some special characters supports by some file systems are not supported by the app. To be sure that the file name/path is not causing problems, get one of the files you are having problems with, rename it to something like 1.cbz, place it in a folder in your desktop a create a library there, then try to open it or import it to iOS.

RegalBlkx Offline Fresh Boarder Posts: 3 Karma: 0	Hey Luis, I have updated to iOS/iPadOS 17.1.1. I am still getting some crashing on the Testfight release, primarily on the iPad mini 6. However, before the reader crashes now, scrolling or page turning becomes laggy and sometimes unstable. This did not occur before when the app would just suddenly crash on iOS 17.0.x.
