Since the last Yacreader update non of my devices will open pdf files anymore, other file types work no problem.
This s with the android app and with the Iphone app, I use yacreader on synology and everything worked no problem.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

It sounds like the yacreaderlibraryserver binary you are using was built without PDF support. Where did you get it?

Yeah, it’s built without PDF support. Open and issue in its github about it.
