Hello
I try to use YACReader on Xubuntu 16.04 but when I update the library, YACReader crashes.
I try to launch the application from a terminal. At the moment of the crash, an error "segmentation fault" is returned...
What can I do ?

Hello Nicolas and welcome to the forum.

Please provide a little more information. Where is your library located? Local storage or NAS? Xubuntu 32 bit or 64 bit? Are there any informations displayed on the console before the segfault happens?

Properly investigating this bug might need recompiling YACReader with debug information enabled and running it in a debugger. Don't worry, I'll look into making a debug-package and the debugger stuff is easy in the case of segfaults.

Yes, actually. Your library is corrupted. Here's the problem:

See the "" after "folder"? There should be a path to the folder being updated there, or maybe a name, but there isn't. This is what causes the segfault. It might be solvable by deleting and re-creating library. If you want to try this approach please make a backup copy of this file:

This is YACReaderLibrary's settings file which also contains some library data. I might need it for fixing the bug that caused this problem. I don't know yet what caused this situation but my current guess is that you might have some directories with french characters in the name. I will try to trigger this bug on my system on the weekend.
