Hello. First of all thanks for the app it’s amazing

Don’t know if it’s a bug or a feature not yet implemented but I’ve noticed thumbnails are not always displayed on folders when several subfolders are present in the next level.

Let’s take an example :
DC \ Black Label \ Rogues \ Rogues issues here

Rogues will have a proper thumbnail (related to the first issue contained inside)
Black Label will have a random thumbnail (it’s changing each time I restart the app) picked between all comics present in one of the subfolder below
DC will have empty thumbnails (full white)

When I use Import \ YacReaderLibrary and connect to my laptop library (with the exact same folders organisation) it’s properly displayed : each folder (even the root) has a clean and not randomised thumbnails corresponding to the first issues of the first not empty subfolders below.

Basically it will be so nice to have the same thumbnails management between local library and import library.
If not clear I can provide screenshots. It’s clearly not critical but the app is so beautiful than starting with a page full of empty white squares it’s quite disappointing let’s say

Luis Ángel Offline Administrator Posts: 2617 Thank you received: 543 Karma: 22	Hmm, it sounds like a bug, I can’t replicate this problem, all my top level folders have covers. Recently a user was having a similar problems and it was some special characters in the paths. Could this be the problem? It would help if you zip your .yacreaderlibrary folder in your library and send it to me by email.

And you right I’ve some subfolders with a name starting by a * Some screenshots of a complete path below DC Comics \ * Elseworld \ Black Label You’ll see sometimes I’ve a blank thumbnail, sometimes a random one instead of having always the first issue of the first subfolder found

Luis Ángel Offline Administrator Posts: 2617 Thank you received: 543 Karma: 22	Hmmm, actually I can't replicate your problem (I tried from macos and windows), I think it could be a problem with the covers cache in the iOS app. I need to add an option to purge it. Could you reinstall the ios app if it doesn't cause you much trouble?

(sorry i've posted my answer in another thread)

I've already reinstalled iPad app and replaced all my * by - : same issues

- Everything is properly displayed on Mac (my comic server)
- Everything is properly displayed on iPad ("Import" view)
- Still same issue on iPad ("Library" view - after import) : Top folders are still empty, sub folders are displaying a random cover (different after each launch)

Hope my .zip file could help to reproduce

I've also tested on an iPhone freshly reinstalled : same issue
