ability to hide zoom indicator was created by realjck
Hello, I have been using YACReader for a short time, and I find it very practical, especially when using shortcuts to navigate.

However, I am bothered by the zoom indicator displayed in the middle of the screen and which disappears after a fraction of a second.

I would have liked to have an option in page flow to not display this zoom indicator.
Do you think this can be a good idea?

It's the black block indicating the zoom percentage that appears when pressing the zoom-in and zoom-out shortcuts:

In my case it interferes with viewing when pressing often the keys for zooming out and in when reading a page

If you find yourself using that function too often maybe it is better to set it to a fixed value and use the magnifiying glass? did you try it? The default shortcut is Z

In my use case, I only use the keyboard, and I was looking for a player allowing full navigation with key shortcuts.

I saw the magnifying glass yes, it is a good function but this one requires the use of the mouse to be able to move it, as well as to define the area with the scroll wheel.

An idea of how to implement the hiding option would be for example to add the possibility of changing the opacity of the notifications, so people wishing to hide the flash notifications completely can set to 0, or adjust the transparency according to their preferences.
