Please have the option to show an info panel on the right of the screen - so that we have the browser on the left, comics in the middle and info panel on the right. When a comic is selected, then the info panel would show the metadata - title, years, artists etc.

I am suggesting this for the grid mode.

Or at the bottom of the grid; especially for people using smaller resolution screens a panel on the right would take too much display space. Maybe a toggle option or dynamic placement depending on windows size?

Yes, definitely, the panel has to be optional. I have to think about a good UI design for it.
