Is there a way to disable sync either from a client or server level. My YACServer is shared among a few people. Ideally I only want progress to be tracked on device and not synced back to the server. Is this possible? Thanks!

No, it's not possible, you can stop the synchronization from happening but only server to app. I'll try to add a setting in future updates.
