Hi,

I'm installing the reader using the AUR package but somehow it's stealing the SUPER + E shortcut from Gnome.

Before installation: Nautilus
After: YACReader (not library)

Has anyone already experienced this kind of problem?

Thanks in advance

This is a known Gnome problem where the definition of Nautilus as the default directory handler gets lost and Gnome just uses whatever handler it finds first. Solution: Set the default directory handler back to Nautilus.

Running this on the console should do the trick:

xdg-mime default nautilus.desktop inode/directory
My answers are not necessarily official YACReader statements but mostly represent my own opinion in technical matters.

Thanks for your reply.

I tried the
xdg-mime default nautilus.desktop inode/directory
but it didn't work. It still opening the Yacreader :/

It's possible that the nautilus desktop file is named different. Arch Wiki suggests "org.gnome.Nautilus.desktop".
