HI, I'm trying to install YACReaderLibraryServer on my raspberry following the tutorial but I found a problem.

Code:
#:~/dev/yacreader_hg/YACReaderLibraryServer $ qmake YACReaderLibraryServer.pro Project MESSAGE: Found Qt5Core Project MESSAGE: Found Qt5Gui Project MESSAGE: Found poppler-qt5 Project MESSAGE: Found Qt5Network Project MESSAGE: Found Qt5Sql Project MESSAGE: Missing dependency: sqlite3 Project MESSAGE: Found unarr source-code Project MESSAGE: Unarr will be build as a part of YACReader Project MESSAGE: No build type specified. Defaulting to standalone server build (CONFIG+=server_standalone). Project MESSAGE: If you wish to run YACReaderLibraryServer on a system with an existing install of YACReaderLibrary, please specify CONFIG+=server_bundled as an option when running qmake. WARNING: Failure to find: ../compressed_archive/unarr/unarr-master/lzmasdk/Types.h WARNING: Failure to find: ../compressed_archive/unarr/unarr-master/lzmasdk/Types.h

How can I fix this problem?

Thank you very much

Hi merlino,

the two warnings you see are a leftover from an older version of the build process. I should've fixed this a long time ago but as it is only a minor annoyance and not a fatal error I keep forgetting it. Anyways, you can simply ignore those two warnings. The server will build fine without the Types.h file.

My answers are not necessarily official YACReader statements but mostly represent my own opinion in technical matters.

Luis has just merged an updated version of the build system for the embedded unarr backend build. Besides fixing the includes issue this also adds some compiler optimizations and removes debug messages created by the backend which irritated some users, so it should run a bit faster than the previous builds.

Let me know if you hit any issues ;)

Hi,

thank you for you help and for the fix.

I got to compile and install YACReaderLibraryServer, but it seems there is something that doesn't work.

I started YACReaderLibraryServer and added library, all from root.

On my iphone, yacreader show the library but it doen't show my comics (cbz).

Any advice?

Thank you very much

From root? As in filesystem root ("/") or as in user root?

YACReaderLibraryServer should be run as a normal user, not as root.

There's a simple test to see if the server is actually working. Open it in a webbrowser.

On the raspbi, this should work by opening the adress localhost:8080

Click on the library and see if you can see the comics and if they have covers. Don't try to read them from the browser, even if they have a "read" link. This webview is for the IOS app, it doesn't work as you'd expect it from a browser.

Sadly, I can't test this with an IPhone since I don't own any Apple devices ;)
Btw, Luis currently recommends creating the libraries with the YACReaderLibrary app and to use YACReaderLibraryServer to serve them.
