Hi,

Love the app but YACReader crashes on my Mac an awful lot. Attached is a traceback from my most recent crash.

What are you doing when it crashes? Could you provide any steps to replicate the crashes? What version of macos are you using? How much ram?

It crashes when opening files. Not just one file but any file. If I can get it to open, then it seems to be fine. But sometimes I have to try 10+ times.

I have 40GB of RAM. Running 10.15.6.

Try this: Go to Options -> Page Flow -> disable "use hardware acceleration" then restart the app. If it doesn't make any difference enable it again.

That seems to have done the trick. Was crashing up to 10 times in a row when opening but I haven't had a crash since. Thanks.

So, that option just enables/disables the use of your graphic card for rendering the "go to" flow view. Your graphic card should be able to handle the flow pretty well, so I am wondering what could be the issue here.

Are your graphic card drivers up to date?
