Unable to load 7z lib

Hello,

I have a problem when creating the database.

The program also blocks indicating to me this message:

"Unable to load 7z lib from ./utils"

I uninstalled and reinstalled but it remains the same.

I can't replicate the problem.

Please, download again the .dmg and drag and drop YACReader and YACReaderLibrary to your desktop. Then, try again.

I Try the last version 6.5.3, the same problem.

The current build of YACReader is not compatible with Snow Leopard. Sadly, I didn't have time for releasing a version for MacOSX 10.6.8.

Since YACReader is open source it could be great to find someone interested in build it for MacOSX Snow Leopard.

I downloaded the latest 7.20 version of Yac Reader and installed on a iMac with OS 10.5.8.
I too am getting the same error.

as Luis already stated in this thread, the current YACReader builds available for Mac OS X do not work on older OS X versions. That doesn't mean it's impossible to run YACReader on an older OS X version, but it means that you either have to find someone to compile it for you or attempt to compile it yourself.

Now, compiling it yourself might sound scary, but it's certainly doable, so you shouldn't give up yet! If you've never compiled something yourself, just get into contact with Luis directly and ask for instructions.
