YACReader Library - permanent port? was created by gcapeletti@yahoo.com.br
Hello everyone,

I've been searching for this and couldn't find a solution, please forgive me if this has already been addressed.

Everytime YACReader Library starts, it sets the server port to a different value. Is there a way to make it use the same port?

Thank you all for the attention.

You can set a permanent port by running YACReaderLibraryServer set-port port. This writes the port into the config file so it is used on the next startup.

My answers are not necessarily official YACReader statements but mostly represent my own opinion in technical matters.

Or open the server dialog in YACReaderLibrary, where the QR code is, and set it there, the reason for what it is happening is that the current port in the config is taken by other app. So pick one that it is free.

Support YACReader

YACReader for desktop and server is free to use, but it is not free to develop: maintaining this website, developer programs, code signing certificates, test devices and, of course, all the time it takes. Less than 0.01% of downloads end in a donation, so any amount counts.

By supporting the project you help keep it regularly updated and, most importantly, alive. Thanks!
