ComicBook Lover/ComicRack Metadata compatibility was created by phunetik

Would it be possible to have YAC Reader/Library be compatible with Comic Rack and/or Comicbook Lover tags? I don't know about anyone else, but I have about 700+ Gigs of comics already tagged with the aforementioned metadata. Normally I wouldn't mind tagging it all again with YAC Reader compatible data, but the YAC library scraper can be very tedious and time consuming... couple that with the fact that the data is not actually being written to the comic files and the entire task is very frustrating. It would be awesome if the YAC could read that metadata that is already there... Please?

I second that. I've tagged my 100 gigs of comics with comictagger praying that YACR will support previous metadata one day

Awesome, Luis!!! Can't wait. I figure if YACReader won't actually tag the comic books themselves with metadata, then the next best thing is for to read metadata that is already there!

@Luis, Will YAC import metadata from an existing ComicRack install, from the application's XML file? I do not save metadata to the file itself, so this would be the only way for me to import from ComicRack, correct?
