This is a guide for translating YACReader.

PREREQUISITES

If you want to translate YACReader, you need to install Linguist:

Windows & macos download Qt online installer install it and then open Linguist.
Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install linguist-qt6
$>linguist

TRANSLATION FILES

The following links are the files containing the English strings:

Download the files, open them in Linguist and save them as: yacreader_yourLanguageCode.ts and yacreaderlibrary_yourLanguageCode.ts.

Now you are ready to start translating YACReader. To learning how to use Linguist, please, follow the Qt docs for Linguist.

TESTING YOUR TRANSLATION

Before submitting your translation, be sure that it works correctly. Using Linguist, File->Release as..., release your translation files to the folder "languages" in the installation path of YACReader. The files names must be: yacreader_yourlanguagecode.qm and yacreaderlibrary_yourlanguagecode.qm

Note for MacOSX users: .qm files must be copied to "YACReader.app\Contents\MacOS\languages" and "YACReaderLibrary.app\Contents\MacOS\languages"

HOW TO SUBMIT FILES

Once the files are ready, you should open a pull request in Github, if you don't know how to do it, you can upload them in this topic.

HOW TO UPDATE A TRANSLATION FOR MATCHING NEWER VERSIONS OF YACREADER

You can clone the repo, modify the files and then open a pull request, if you don't know how to do it you can download the files for your language, update them, and then upload them again here.

We finished translate .qm files. Qm files only constitute 80% of the program's language is.
We need to make full translate for program. How we can make full translate.
What we need to use for open to welcome, about and keybord shortcut panels etc.
Whe are using Windows system.

And We want to be legal supporters of YACReader's.
Continuous, we want to keep up to date.
