Running the app as a service is probably the way to go in Windows. In any case, this is barely a beta so all the feedback is welcome.

You can always create a .bat file passing there the 'start' parameter to the executable. Out there there are tools for simplifying how to start a service from a .exe, f.e. nssm.cc/

Also, one other small improvement: cmd + v paste does not work in the search field (top right corner). Right click + paste works just fine.
